This page will explore the process of lesson planning in our classroom
1. Observe
The first process in creating a lesson plan is to observe the children's behavior and interests.
2. Create
Create an activity that is both educational and fun for the children.
3. Link
Link the created activities to the Ohio Early Learning Content Standards.
4. Explore
Explore the activity created with the children. Remember if the activity is interesting to the children you can continue with the learning, but if the children are not interested you need to take a different approach to discovery. This is done through asking questions, with active listening you can always discover where the interest lies, at that point we guide our focus to what will keep the children engaged in active learning thru play.
All learning is attained through interesting and fun activities.
5. Evaluate
After the activity take note on how the activity was perceived and completed by the children. Collect pictures taken of activity and showcase the children's responses.
